Job Description
Deploy is looking for an experienced IT Helpdesk Technician to join our clients team in Tuscaloosa, AL. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software.
Responsibilities:•Respond to requests for technical assistance via phone, email, or in person•Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues•Research questions using available resources•Follow standard help desk procedures•Log all help desk interactions•Redirect problems to appropriate resources•Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention•Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions•Provide technical support to end-users•Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software•Configure and install software applications•Follow up with users to ensure issue has been resolved
Requirements:•Proven experience as a Help Desk Technician or other customer support role•Technical degree or certification•Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office suite•Excellent problem-solving and communication skills•Ability to provide step-by-step technical help•Ability to work independently and as part of a team•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment•Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks•Must be able to work a full-time schedule
