RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in the configuration and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access pointsMonitor network performance, analyze network traffic patterns, and assist in troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal operation and uptimeAssist in the implementation and maintenance of network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controlsProvide technical support and assistance to end-users, including resolving network-related issues, configuring network devices, and troubleshooting connectivity problemsAssist in the documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity of operationsCollaborate with other IT staff to support the implementation of new technologies, projects, and initiativesStay current with emerging technologies and trends in network administration to enhance skills and knowledgeREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)Strong interest in networking technologies and network administrationBasic knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, and VPNsFamiliarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, PingPlotter)Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentEagerness to learn and grow in the field of network administration
