Job Description:
This position requires a high level of technical expertise and experience in transportation operations, construction, maintenance and asset management. Requires working knowledge of industry trends, advancements, and best practices. Requires national experience in their subject area and proven experience in business development, client presentations, and building and maintaining client relationships. Requires demonstrated experience in development and delivery of training at the post-secondary level of education (ie, colleges, universities, tech schools) in their areas of expertise. Requires the ability to train and develop their team members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
Functions/ Responsibilities:
1. Provide strategic direction and advice on transportation operations, maintenance, and asset management activities.
2. Provide specialized knowledge in transportation systems, infrastructure, construction, maintenance and asset management practices to clients.
3. Address complex issues related to transportation operations, construction, maintenance and asset management, proposing effective solutions.
4. Provide guidance and serve as an in-house resource to team members to enhance their skills in transportation operations, construction, maintenance and asset management to include developing and/or providing training.
5. Coordinate with Clients, Professional Organizations, Colleges, and other post-secondary education facilities to help develop training courses in transportation operations to include topics such as construction, maintenance, and asset management.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. 4-yr degree in engineering
2. Professional Engineer licensure (PE)
