We are seeking a

SQL/SSIS Senior Developer .

OVERVIEW:

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced

SQL developer & data architectHe/ She will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the client's data architecture and database systems for their reporting environment.They will be part of an agile team that combines various backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to solve complex problems within cloud and beyond.The person will also be required to participate actively in brainstorming sessions for improvement opportunities and take it to completion.A suitable candidate should have 9+ years of IT experience with at least 7+ years of experience working as an SQL developer & Data Architect.Experience in

life insurance is preferred

but not mandatory.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLSETS

Common Skillsets:

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.Should be able to work on a problem independently and prepare client-ready deliverables with minimal or no supervision.Excellent communication skills for client interaction

Application development Skillsets:

Strong computer science fundamentals such as algorithms, data structures, multithreading, object-oriented development, distributed applications, client-server architectureAbility to design and implement data processes:

Strong SQL and work experience with MS SQL, or UDB.Strong experience with Stored Procedures

Expand and optimize data pipelines, data flow, and collection for cross-functional teams.Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture by assembling large, complex data sets to meet functional and non-functional business requirements.Ability to quickly pick up and understand where solutions would be appropriate for business applications.Identify and implement internal process improvements including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability.Support the building of data platforms and infrastructure required for optimal data extraction, transformations, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.Work with architecture, data, and design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs.Experience with SSIS and ETL/ELTDesirable skills, but not required:

Cloud exposureDenodo exposureSome Mainframe Development background

Experience in web services, streaming and messaging technologies is a plus.Proven ability to optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing and stored procedure optimization.Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and inspire a team.Experience with collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing client and stakeholder expectations.Demonstrated experience with data governance, data security and privacy regulations.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Bachelors/masters degree in computer science/engineering, operations research, or related analytics areas welcome to apply.9+ years experience as an SQL Data Architect, preferably in Life Insurance but not mandatoryCapability of designing complex data architecture solutionsTeam ManagementSuperior analytical and problem-solving skills.Outstanding written and verbal communication skillsAble to work in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment with the ability to take up challenging tasks.Can understand cross-cultural differences and can collaborate with clients across the globe.LOCATION:
