COLSA Corporation is seeking to hire an experienced Microsoft IIS Web Service Administrator who also has experience with Microsoft SQL Databases to support our Enterprise IT Support Services work at the Army Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) G6/CIO. AvMC is the Army’s focal point for providing research, development and engineering technology and services for aviation and missile platforms across the weapons systems life cycle. AvMC’s mission is to “deliver collaborative and innovative aviation and missile capabilities for responsive and cost-effective research, development, and life cycle engineering solutions” to equip the Warfighter with the best technology today and tomorrow.
The ideal candidate possess demonstrated experience performing server administration of systems hosting Microsoft IIS Web services to include the ability to work with software developers whose applications are being hosted through IIS. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL and the connectivity between IIS and SQL is greatly beneficial. Experience with F5 web application solutions like BIG-IP, Web Application Firewalls, and Access Policy Manager is desirable. The candidate will be working in a team environment onsite and must have effective written and verbal communication skills. You will work closely with the Windows Server Operations Team to include those supporting Active Directory and Microsoft SQL as well as the Network Engineering Team.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
· Responsible for the planning, installation, configuration, and administration of Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) installations and hosted applications.
· Plan and implement Microsoft IIS Server patch and update installations to meet Army and DoD mission and cybersecurity configuration requirements.
· Manage web application deployments into the production environment. Assist application developers in troubleshooting production applications as needed. Troubleshoot issues and outages to maintain availability.
· Maintain system configurations in accordance with DISA STIGs and to maintain system documentation for accreditation efforts.
· Configure F5 Big-IP devices to provide reverse proxy services and authentication services to web application infrastructure.
· Work with Active Directory OUs, Service Accounts, and Security Groups in support of web and database management needs.
· Work in conjunction with the Networking Team to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
· Provide assistance to team members who have Microsoft SQL administrative responsibilities.

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 8 years related work experience.
Current CompTIA Security+ CE.
Ability to qualify for an active DoD Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.
Experience with Microsoft IIS.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Windows domain and Active Directory Organizational Units and security policies.
Experience with administration of Microsoft Azure DevOps and configuration of Team Project Collections.
