Description: Business Consultant capable of delivering data management solutions to key clients in the manufacturing industries. Will work independently and on teams to provide a high level of service on client engagements within existing frameworks to deliver solutions to our clients. Key focus areas: Data Governance, Data Quality, Master Data Management. Looking for a dynamic individual with the ability to act in the capacity of data analyst, business analyst, project manager, solution architect, and program coordinator - sometimes all at the same time. Ability to juggle multiple efforts simultaneously is a must. Will work primarily on individual client facing projects as well as a resource for client proposal efforts and framework development. Responsibilities: 1. Participate in customer-facing meetings for all aspects of a solution, and serve within the onsite team in the capacity that best fits the needs of the program 2. Develop business requirements around Data Integration, Modeling, Governance, Quality, and other aspects of Data Management as it relates to the client program 3. Leverage industry experience tied with data domain knowledge to develop best practices and program artifacts 4. Interface with onshore and offshore development resources to share direct knowledge of client requirements 5. Develop Solutions and Assets for forthcoming and in-flight projects under the direction of project and program managers 6. Develop use cases and guide technical teams for POC / solution development, test case designs, and certify solutions before handing over to customers 7. Work on internal programs, frameworks, proposals and solutions at the direction of management Qualifications: Desired Experience Range Consultant 6-10 Years increasing experience 4-6 years MDM 2-3 years Project Management Exposure to manufacturing industry Senior Consultant 10-12 Years increasing experience 5-8 years MDM 3-5 years project management Significant functional knowledge of Manufacturing industry (auto, aero, chemical, etc.) Location of Requirement Detroit, MI (open to travel and/or relocation) Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) Must-Have 1. Clear understanding of the concepts of Data Management (Data Governance, Data Profiling, Data Quality and Cleansing, Master Data Management, Security, Metadata, etc.) with Integration and Support of Data Management frameworks in large organizations over multiple projects and lifecycles 2. MDM tool analysis experience from one of the following: IBM, SAP, Informatica, Microsoft, Oracle, Stibo (development experience a plus)Experienced with implementation, validation, and business applications of Master Data domains (one or more of - Parts/Material/Product Master, Customer Master, Vendor/Supplier Master) 3. High ability to communicate with business stakeholders at all levels 4. Technical and Functional Documentation (Word, PowerPoint) Good-to-Have 1. Manufacturing industry experience (Automotive, Aerospace, Parts Suppliers etc.) as business/functional or technical resource Project/program management over multiple lifecycles 2. Experience with Data Modeling 3. Experience with Data Profiling 4. Data and System Integration Experience 5. Industry experience in Product Design, Sales & Marketing, Operations
