DescriptionUKG is looking to hire a Principal SW QA Engineer! You will work within a global and distributed teamthat develops and tests quality software aligned with product and company objectives.Work on test strategy as per business value and delivery commitmentsWrite test cases for manual, automation and performance testing and execute as per business requirementsPerform reviews of peers test cases and their resultsPerform final test results audit before build is moving in higher environments for production rolloutWork closely with other development, product, and platform teams to ensure successful implementation of applications as per business visionWork closely with product, developers to design and deliver the key componentsSuccessful candidates will be experienced in modern test methodologies and processes executed throughout the software development life cycle and have a proven track record as an individual contributor in a small agile team environmentA demonstrated ability to deliver quality product releases on schedule using risk analysis and defect containment practices, test automation and continuous improvement initiatives are key to this positionTechnical guiding, mentoring & leading the junior members in the teamProviding technical expertise to the projectsGrowing the technical knowledge & expertise of the teamResponsible & accountable for the quality delivery of the product/projectQualificationsBasic qualifications:More than 8 years of software engineering industry experience working with engineering, product, and support organizationsMust have experience in manual and automation testingGood knowledge of SDLC/Defect Lifecycle/STLCGood experience in test management tools like JIRA and TestRailPreferred qualifications:Good knowledge of test case design techniques and test case reviewsGood at problem solving with excellent documentation and communication skillsGood coding skill in a programming languageProcess-oriented with high attention to detailExcellent problem solving and decision-making abilitiesExperience testing using various platformsEEO Statement
