The UKG Suite Business Structure product development team is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, with a focus on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). A strong willingness to learn new and diverse technologies. Ability to work on complex, critical IT platform and integrations. A good team player and has good analytical skills.Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:Responsible for building and maintaining tools, solutions and microservices associated with deployment, ensuring that all meet our service standards and reduce errors.Helping the team understand how our services are behaving – including capturing metrics using code instrumentation techniques and creating dashboards to observe application health.Working as part of the development team, actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production.Improve system performance, application delivery and efficiency through automation, process refinement, postmortem reviews, and in-depth configuration analysis.Collaborate closely with other devops engineers and developers within the organization to deliver reliable services.Actively participate in incident response, including on-call responsibilities.Qualifications:3-5 years of strong experience with Kubernetes administration, including deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Kubernetes clusters in production environments.Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, etc.) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, etc.).Solid understanding of cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and their services relevant to Kubernetes.Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for Kubernetes.General understanding of networking concepts (DNS, Traceroute, Load Balancing Configurations, etc.).Hands-on development Tools - Jenkins, GIT, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Gradle.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.EEO Statement
