We're looking for a

Senior Product Manager

to lead the development of a new native app for HBR. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, this individual will define and deliver a roadmap that includes extended format offerings, new app feature design and delivery, personalization, and tactics to drive mobile downloads and in-app revenue. The ideal candidate for this role is a passionate digital consumer and user advocate with a strong editorial sensibility.

What You'll DoManage a consistent and detailed set of product artifacts (roadmaps, feature/function gap analysis, user journeys, process outlines, marketplace audits) and maintain them as our mobile business grows.Move ideas from initial concept through user research, wireframing, and rapid prototyping in partnership with UX and design.Develop hypotheses and experiments grounded in customer data and research to drive activation, retention, and conversion.Lead across a matrixed organization and partner with stakeholders in engineering, marketing, editorial, and analytics to position the mobile app as part of our overall omnichannel strategy.Act as the voice of the customer, within and outside the HBR organization, to launch delightful, dependable digital experiences.

What We're Looking For5+ years working in product management on mobile development and native apps; experience in the consumer media or educational spaces a strong plus.Solid grasp of the full product lifecycle and software development best practices, including experience with Agile, Scrum, and Atlassian software.A proven ability to gather and synthesize product data, user research, and industry analysis to identify real problems blocking customer satisfaction and revenue growth.Demonstrable customer focus and curiosity: you are unafraid to ask questions and you are confident in your approach to answering them.Exceptional organizational, communication and problem-solving skills: you thrive in highly collaborative projects and have an ability to cut through ambiguity to make data-driven decisions.Experience or knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on applications within mobile technology and user experience enhancement.

$110,000 - $125,000Above is the annualized pay range for this position. In addition, this position includes the opportunity to earn our annual Performance Based Variable Pay Program. Actual salary will be set based upon a range of factors, including external benchmark market data, individual knowledge, skills, experience, location and internal equity.
