Are you a seasoned B2B marketer, passionate about driving demand and adoption through compelling marketing messaging? Are you experienced in generating content that resonates with target audiences? Are you interested in a strategic and global role in the ever-changing higher education industry?
Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Marketing, the Senior Marketing Manager (B2B) is a key member of a results-oriented marketing team. This is a wonderful opportunity to use your entrepreneurial and consultative mindset to help activate growth for the HBP Education team. Solid experience in B2B marketing (content creation and demand generation) — with a data-driven mindset and creative thinking — is essential for success!
What You’ll Do
Architect detailed engagement plans with prospective B2B purchasers and closed customers.Work cross-functionally with sales leadership and sales teams to define account strategies and execute targeted marketing campaigns to feed the demand generation pipeline.Collaborate with Sales and Business Intelligence teams on improvements to the lead flow process and reporting to continually optimize B2B marketing and the sales funnel.Support our conference engagement strategy by maintaining a conference speaking plan, helping draft compelling proposals, and architecting lead gen tactics during relevant conferences.Collaborate with our Editorial team to create thought leadership collateral (i.e., whitepapers, reports) to engage prospects and influencers across the customer journey.Create/execute strategic regional campaigns that attract interested influencer leads for institutional contracts.Create onboarding, activation, and engagement campaigns for educators at newly signed accounts.Stay abreast of trends in higher education and generate marketing collateral that speaks to HBP Education’s value proposition and competitive advantage.Create Sales presentations and other collateral that tell our brand’s story in a compelling way and lay out our value proposition. Train the sales team to use the collateral.Educate the marketing and sales team about competitors in the higher ed space and market trends.
What You'll Bring
7+ years of B2B marketing experience with a proven track record of developing a successful B2B marketing funnel.Ability to generate compelling marketing collateral, conference proposals, sales presentations, and other marketing content.Demonstrated proficiency using Salesforce, analytical, and presentation tools to analyze and communicate with the sales leadership team.Global mindset and ability to connect with team members and customers from around the world.Ability to influence and build relationships with various stakeholders and members of leadership teams.A strategic marketer, a go-getter, comfortable with ambiguity, and the ability to determine solutions and prioritize accordingly.Results and data-driven. Experienced with analyzing campaign results to assess effectiveness, inform business recommendations, and find opportunities for optimization.
You'll stand out if you have
Excellent project management skills.Experience in email marketing and direct mail.Experience or interest in higher education is a plus.Proven track record of planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns (e.g., email, direct mail, and paid channels).

$110,000 - $120,000 USD per year
Above is the annualized pay range for this position. In addition, this position includes the opportunity to earn our annual Performance Based Variable Pay Program. Actual salary will be set based upon a range of factors, including external benchmark market data, individual knowledge, skills, experience, location and internal equity.
