Planning, setting up, documenting and maintaining network systems (LAN / WAN / VPN / MPLS / SD-WAN)Configuration of network devices such as switches, routers, security gateways and VPN gatewaysDetect and resolve network and connectivity issues, including troubleshooting firewall policy sets, routing and switchingMonitor network activity, detect errors and troubleshoot connection problemsAssist in implementing network security measuresAdministration, optimization and support of existing system environmentsSkills/Must have:
At least 5 years of practical experience in the IT industryCompleted training in IT or comparable qualificationDeep understanding of network topologies, network architectures, network security and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, etc.)Expertise in administration and configuration of network devicesPractical experience in dealing with Linux administration (Ubuntu, Debian)Experience troubleshooting network issues and optimizing network performanceExperience with firewalls (Fortigate, Sophos, Checkpoint etc.)Planning and implementation of firewall systemsFluent language skills in German and good knowledge of EnglishEnjoy teamwork (communication, building up know-how and passing it on within the team)Benefits:
