Lead Engineer- IT Infrastructure is responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance / support of Provide technical expertise and architectural solutions in infrastructure, hardware, hosting service and network areas.Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership, technical consultation, and operational support for enterprise-wide IT network infrastructure.Perform current state network assessments and develop architectures based on industry best practices and the latest advanced network technologiesUtilize effective project management skills to lead strategic infrastructure projects while working with the business to ensure on-time and on-budget project deliveryIdentify, analyse, and resolve complex networking issues utilizing advanced technical experience.Take accountability for enterprise-wide network team task and project deliverablesProvide technical training to peers and maintain network documentationDesigns and installs internal and external networks to ensure smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processesMonitoring and testing to provide network performance statistics and reportsLong-term capacity planning, baselines, policies, and procedures.Proposals, whitepapers, presentations, and technical documentation.design and configuration documents.Technical presentations, procedures, and process documentation.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Have acquired relevant industry certifications in the computer and network technical fields (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, Comp TIA)Knowledge of Cisco hardware, Nexus, Catalyst and WLAN.Knowledge of network routing: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF (VXLAN a plus)Knowledge on software defined networking, SD-Access, SDLAN, DNAC, ISE etc.Working knowledge of Unix, Linux, and Microsoft Operating Systems6+ years’ experience in Network Engineering role, and specifically in Network Automation OrchestrationIntermediate to Expert Level Skills in MPLS / DC Network / WAN / Routing / Network Design / Firewalls / VPN Technologies IPSec / S2S / SSL / Wi-Fi APs and Controllers.Experienced in Network Protocol testing - VLAN, RSTP, IGMP, IEEE802.1X, SNMP, NTP, Static/Dynamic routing, QoS etc.Understanding and Experience on LAN / WAN / WLAN / BGP / MPLS / OSPF / EIGRP / VPN troubleshooting Skills.Plan, Design, and Implement Classified and Unclassified communication networks.Network documentation and testing.Required Experience & Certifications:
8+ years’ experience in a production IT environment managing enterprise IT infrastructure, hardware, hosting service and network areas.Ability to write architectural design documents or review design documents provided by others.Knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies and ability to apply trends to architectural needs.CCNA & CCNP Certifications and Hands on experience on Switching & Routing.CISCO Firewall (FTD). Checkpoint, and FortiGate firewall Hands on experience.Good Knowledge in the Cisco Products link CISCO ASA, Palo alto, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Identity Service Engine, WLC, Nexus etc.
