Follow established protocol and under the medical supervision of certified radiologists,Perform procedures for the direct results of interpretation.Assist the radiologists on procedures as needed and be responsible for supervision of student Radiologic Technologists assigned to them.EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals.EXPERIENCE:
2 years of work experience as an Imaging Technologist or 6 months of demonstrated clinical work experience as a Special Procedures/Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist.LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Registered in Radiologic Technology by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT).Preferred completion of an accredited Vascular Interventional Radiology Program and ARRT registered in VI Radiology.Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card. Certified or documentation that certification has been applied for with the SCRQSA.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must have demonstrated ability to perform and teach Special Procedures exams to produce satisfactory diagnostic films for interpretation.Knowledge of OSHA, DHEC, FDA and TJC standards and regulations.Responsible for safe operation of Special Procedures and processing equipment.Ability to operate standard office equipment.
