Supports excellence in client experienceWorks collaboratively with HM and Medical DirectorPractices high quality, gold standard medicineExamine, diagnose, and treat animals brought into the veterinary clinic/hospital for medical carePerform surgical procedures as needed, including routine spay/neuter operations as well as more complex surgeriesPrescribe and administer medications, treatments, and preventative care plansCounsel pet owners on animal health, nutrition, behavior, and overall wellbeingInterpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays, blood work, etc. and develop treatment plansMaintain comprehensive patient medical records and documentationAssist in emergencies and provide urgent/critical care when neededMentor and oversee veterinary technicians and support staffStay up-to-date on new veterinary techniques, medications, and best practicesCompetencies And Experience:
Valid and in good standing licensed veterinarian within the state of CA2+ years of clinical experience, requiredStrong clinical skills and sound medical judgmentGood communication skills, both written and verbalTime-management and delegation abilitiesExercises sound judgement and demonstrates exemplary decision-making skillsProfessionalism and courtesy in all interactions with others
