JOB DESCRIPTION
886 bed general acute care academic medical center. Level I trauma.
Schedule- D/E/N ROTATING SHIFT SCHEDULES, Every Other Weekend (EOW), Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs
A Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit whose primary focus is the critically ill Neuro patient who requires a high degree of specialized nursing and medical care. Patient diagnosis includes traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke and other critical neurologic pathologies. A brand new state-of-the-art, 12 bed ICU.
QUALIFICATIONS
Work ExperienceMinimum two years current ICU Neuro experienceExcellent critical thinking skills, communication and organizational skills and ability to remain current in knowledge of critical carePrevious Travel experience preferredEpic EMR two years of experienceTelemetry experience requiredLicense/Registration/Certification
Active unencumbered New York RN LicenseACLS/BLS - American Heart AssociationPALS - American Heart AssociationEducation and Training
Associate Degree - Graduate of an Accredited School of NursingBSN preferredPhysical Requirements - Must be able to push, pull, bend, and ambulate without assistance.
