Compensation : $59.75 - $59.75 Hourly Client Job Ref ID : ASC-10004|AH-HHC-93132 Start Date : 08/14/2023 End Date : 11/18/2023 Security Clearance : None Department: Nursing Administration Shift Timings: Night Shift 19:00 - 07:30 HoursRoles & Responsibilities Providing nursing care to acutely or critically ill patients with an assigned unit or clinic; Implementing medical care plans; Directing and supervising the patient care provided by nursing personnel assigned to the unit; Maintaining standard unit activities in the absence of the Head Nurse; and Performing other related duties as assigned/required. Minimum Qualifications LTACHs provide highly advanced and focused care for patients who have not responded to short-term treatment in traditional general hospitals. The average length of stay in an LTACHs is 25 days as compared to a 3-5 day average in a general hospital. Patients appropriate for LTACHs include those who are ventilator dependent, suffering from multi-organ failure or deep wound ulcerations. QUALIFICATIONS Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. The ability to stand for extended periods. Strong technical skills. Knowledge of medical terminology Passionate about patient care Requires a minimum of two years of RN ICU experience. Graduate from a fully accredited RN program Active unencumbered RN Illinois state license One year of Epic experience Requirements COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster. SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
