Data Replication Engineer

to fill an open position with a Fortune 500 company based in the greater Connecticut area. In this exciting opportunity, you will play a crucial role in implementing and supporting data replication technologies, with a focus on QLIK replicate. As a key team player, you will work in a challenging environment, adapting to change and embracing new technologies. Your responsibilities will include installing replication products, applying patches, and providing operational support. Additionally, you'll contribute to automation using Python and Terraform, and AWS certification is a plus.

In this role you will:

Install and configure replication products on both Windows and Linux systems

Apply patches to replication tools for life cycle management

Collaborate with project teams, database teams, and development teams for replication setup

Provide operational support for replication technologies and troubleshoot issues

Assist in migrations from legacy replication technologies to new ones

Collaborate with vendors for issue resolution and testing of new releases

Contribute to enhancing replication technologies based on requirements
