The Department of Neurosurgery at Yale School of Medicine is accepting applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor with subspecialty interest in the treatment of complex brain tumors. The interested candidate should have completed an ACGME accredited neurosurgical residency and be interested in joining a busy clinical brain tumor program. Fellowship training is preferred but not required for this position. Candidates must hold an MD or equivalent and be board certified or board eligible.The candidate should be facile in the surgical management of brain tumors with a focus and emphasis on complex primary brain and skull-based tumors (i.e. gliomas, meningiomas, schwannomas), with a more minor focus on general neurosurgery. The candidate will be joining a high volume brain tumor surgical practice with a heavily integrated research enterprise and will be able to develop a robust brain tumor practice while having the guidance and mentorship of our team. The applicant should have a strong interest in teaching and mentoring with an excellent team of residents and fellows, as well as be committed to enhancing our field with contributions through clinical/translational or basic science research.Qualifications
