Make It With Pride.The National Account Manager will lead sales efforts as part of a Customer Business Team. Their customer portfolio includes Wawa, GPM, and QuickChek, along with designated categories within the MDLZ Portfolio. They will serve as a liaison between Mondelez International/Customer Business Team (CBT) and the Customers' Headquarters (HQ) Team. The incumbent is tasked with achieving revenue and market share objectives, implementing business strategies to mutually enhance Mondelēz International and assigned customers' performance. They will provide category management expertise, ensure cohesive cross-functional sales support to customers, and assist in Customer Service/Supply Chain activities and initiatives.How you will contributeYou will:Build Mondelēz International business with the customer as measured by profitability achievement, share gains, volume targets, special programs, and new item introductions. Develop and cultivate effective, positive business relationships with key customer decision makers - penetrate all levels and key functions of the customer.Collaborate with Category Planners, Shopper Marketing, and Key Stakeholders to tailor Mondelēz International programs consistent with customer strategies through the development of Sale’s presentations to sell‐in new items, new distribution, merchandising events, etc.Create synergies in the Mondelēz International portfolio of products to drive customer profitability and Mondelēz International revenue, consumption and share. Translate business unit priorities into a comprehensive plan for the period. Collaborate with customer to ensure compliance and performance on agreed upon strategies / tactics.Proactively manage plan: Translate priorities into actionable plans specific to category/customer. Collaborate with the Customer, gaining alignment on plan and key supporting tactics. Build/deliver revenue, profit, and share by applying category management principles and business analytic best practices to identify key category drivers and implementing business recommendations to drive Mondelēz International & Customer growth. Ensure accuracy of LE by updating customer plan & TPM Customer Plans based on actual performance; targeting continuous improvement in forecasting and “Revenue Call”.Manage communications with Supply Chain ensuring accurate, timely Forecast and order management.Provide updates to management on competitive activity (Customer and in the Market), Customer specific strategy changes, key marketplace updates and other business-related activities. Conduct category analysis by utilizing current consumer and category insights and KPI Reports. Analyze the category, the customer and the consumer information to make strategic business building decisions.Leverage analytical support to understand customer/category implications of the information presented. Recognize opportunities to grow share / profitability with the customer. Evaluate post event analytical support to determine profitability and ROI of trade funded events. Determine areas for improvement and increased trade efficiencies. Collaborate with the customer to continually refine future plans.Manage operating costs: Manage effective trade funds spending within budget. Develop effective and efficient merchandising that maximize ROI. Ensure timely and efficient resolution to Customer deductions. Review KPIs to determine necessary action steps to improve category profitability. Lead the resolution of post audit deductions (with administrative support when appropriate). Adhere to auditing policy and procedures.Requirements:High School Diploma or GED requiredBachelor's degree preferredMinimum 5 years' experience along with strong sales background with excellent understanding of business processes and systemsExtensive knowledge of category and/or portfolio specific to categoryPrior operational forecasting experience and analyzing consumer trendsStrong financial acumen - understanding of profit and revenue drivers and analysisProficiency in forecasting demand and revenue for responsible Customer / Category(s)Strong analytical skills: able to analyze customer, consumer and category data and make business building decisions based off this analysisAbility to plan, organize and set prioritiesStrong negotiation/problem solving skillsSuperior interpersonal skillsAbility to establish and maintain effective relationships with customer and retail teams, gain trust and respectProficient in Microsoft Office programs and overall computer skills, knowledge of Salesforce preferredTravel requirements:

20-35% travel requiredThe anticipated base salary range for this position is $111,500 to $167,300; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
