Technology Consultant
fora 3 months contract engagement with our government client.
Work Location: This position is remote (some travels may be required to Jackson and Colombus, MS.)
Job Description :
Our client is undertaking an initiative to enhance crisis communications originating within the state, including calls, chats, and texts. The objective is to implement technology and security enhancements to support the infrastructure and facilitate seamless coordination across the crisis continuum. The Technology Consultant will assess existing data collection and call systems used by our client and their partners in Mississippi, providing recommendations for implementing state-wide technology that integrates their Crisis Response Teams and related services.
Deliverables :
Deliverable 1: Technical Needs Assessment The consultant will identify all technical requirements necessary for a responsive crisis system within Centers, assessing current technology systems and their alignment with operational needs.
Deliverable 2: Technology Solution Proposal Based on the assessment, the consultant will propose technology solutions and workflows for real-time data sharing across crisis response platforms, including feasibility studies, vendor evaluations, and cost estimates for implementation.
Deliverable 3: Cybersecurity Review Conforming to national cybersecurity standards, the consultant will evaluate existing systems for vulnerabilities and recommend upgrades to enhance cybersecurity across all Centers and crisis partners.
Required Skills:
The consultant must hold a Bachelor's degree and possess 4-5 years of management or consulting experience within the behavioral health industry, demonstrating knowledge of operational workflows and HIPAA compliance.
