Position Summary:
The Data Analyst III is responsible for utilizing complex financial and healthcare data analysis methodologies to identify meaningful trends and create reports, dashboards and visualizations that provide business analytics Enterprise wide.Essential Functions:
Analyzes, prepares, and reports on financial performance of contracts including but not limited to delegated risk, specialty and ancillary capitation and referral trends and utilization dataSynthesizes large amounts of data and applies advanced analytic methodologies to provide concise and accurate reportingInterprets business needs and provides reporting and data storytelling insights for customersDevelops and maintains quality assurance (QA) processes and works across the enterprise to ensure consistent applicationIdentifies opportunities for optimization and develops and presents potential solutions to teamMaintains confidentiality and ensures compliance with HIPAA regulationsOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to develop complex reports utilizing the appropriate company-approved reporting tools (SSRS/SSIS, Excel, Power BI)Strong knowledge of relational databases and database theories and conceptsIn-depth experience in developing metrics, identifying trends, and using complex analytical and financial modeling techniques.Highly skilled at creating reports and visualizations that meet business needs and tell a story with the data that helps drive decision-making.Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and lead team on projects or report developmentAble to understand industry and market trends, as well as organizational needs; able to incorporate those insights into analysesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsQualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in health administration, business administration, statistics, finance, business analytics or related field preferred or equivalent5 + years of experience performing data analytics- preferred in a healthcare environment2+ years of Power BI experience.3+ years’ experience with SQLHome office that is HIPAA compliant for all remote or telecommuting positions as outlined by the company policies and proceduresSalary Range:
The salary range for this position is 90,016-$112,519.
