Come take a look at Infinera!Engaging in architectural design of the high-speed, high-performance analog / mixed-signal circuit and systems, you have the chance to create the technical differentiation for Infinera to hold the market leadership. We together will revolutionize the era of efficient high-speed transmission.Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:Model the circuit blocks and mixed-signal IPs, including but not limited to high-speed ADCs, DACs, CTLE, FFE, and PLLs, to work with the circuit design expert to achieve the best performance trade-offs.Design the equalization and calibration algorithms to optimize the overall system performance.Work with the circuit design team to keep track of budgeting for jitter, noise, linearity, etc., and optimize the overall system performance.Work with the RTL team to implement the algorithm.Work with the verification team to generate the adequate behavior model of the circuits to ensure the robustness of the design.Mandatory
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Have prominent tracking record in designing and modeling high speed systems and its mixed-signal blocks, including but limited to SERDES, optical links, and wireless transmission systems.Extremely fluent in DSP theories and algorithms.Hands-on in modeling and simulating with Matlab, Simulink, and/or C, C++.Extensive experience in algorithms for channel equalization, CDR, channel coding, and error corrections schemes such as LDPC.Have a decent understanding in CMOS analog / mixed signal design.Preferred
Knowledge/Skill/Abilities:Able to create IBIS-AMI model.Can code in System-Verilog.Fluent in verbal and written communications.Independently resolves issues and conquer design challenges.Self-motivated and detail oriented.Has good interpersonal skills.Education Requirement:M.S. and Ph.D. in E.E.#LI-SR2Infinera is an equal opportunity employer.
