One of the biggest keys to our success is the strength of our team. To support our growth, we're hiring a DevOps Engineer as a key member of our team.
Primary Responsibilities
Ensure high availability and efficient performance for shared platforms.Serve as technical expert resolving problems related to system integration, compatibility and multiple platform integration.Support and provide maintenance of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline and code deployment tools and environments.Troubleshooting critical development systems (Build failures, critical web services)Keep current on trends and technological innovations in the IT industry, making recommendations for opportunities to improve efficiency of performance and software.Create and update architecture, installation and operational support documentation for Web/Client server and API software deployments.Implement and support automation tools and scripts.Provide database oversight, advise on query optimization and teach developers best practices.Participate in on-call efforts for systems / integration failures after hours.Ensure GoReact's preparedness for scaling in both the web and API tiers.Provide consultation and assists project teams in formulating solutions.Create, implement, and enforce corporate IT policies.Ensure business continuity policies are followed and current.Support internal business groups with their technology efforts. 5+ years experience with production Linux systems, preferability incloud native environments.5+ years experience managing cloud infrastructureExperience with infrastructure automation tools.Experience managing SQL databases, preferably MySQL.A strong desire and ability to learn.Logical thinking and troubleshooting skills for complex systems.Functional knowledge of networks and servers.Excellent verbal and virtual communication skills.Ability to document and diagram complex systems.Able to provide after-hours support when required.Self-starter as well as a team-player.Benefits & Perks
Work location? This position requires in-office attendance 2-3 times per week, otherwise you can choose to work remotely. All candidates must live within reasonable traveling distance to our Orem office.
