The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Manager on commercial/industrial electrical construction projects from preconstruction to finish. The Assistant PM will provide support in the areas of safety, planning, scheduling, cost monitoring, customer reporting, estimating, change orders, and bid development.

Description:

Reads and interprets blueprints, inspection reports, specifications, etc.Shop drawing review, submittal, and coordinationLabor and material trackingAssist with Project budgeting and schedulingEnsure material schedule is accurately maintained, and materials are provided to job site as neededPunch list managementAssist with quantity takeoffs if neededAssist the PM in managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneouslyCoordinates with Superintendent to ensure project completion to specificationsAbility to work with sensitive deadlinesAbility to travel to site specific projects as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related discipline, or 2+ years' electrical project experienceExperience with Bluebeam, PlanGrid, and Procore software preferredAbility to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneouslyExperience with project schedulingAutoCAD Experience a plusProficient in Microsoft OfficeAbility to work with within a team, with upper management, and with subordinatesStrong client relations skills are a must to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat businessEffective problem-solving skills, and ability to make time sensitive decisions
