As a leader in the MRO industry, we partner with customers to make sure they have the right maintenance and repair parts on hand when needed.We’re looking for a motivated Senior Manager of Sales Enablement responsible for managing strategic initiatives that improve the structure, allocation, productivity, and effectiveness of our sales force. This individual will collaborate across the organization to establish process and governance guiding how the sales teams operate and interact to achieve business performance goals.Our corporate headquarters is located in Chicago, IL. This role operates on a hybrid work model; employees spend two days working in the office and three days working remotely. We offer 401k plus vision, dental and medical benefits, as well as a paid holiday and PTO package.Responsibilities

Develops a team of enablement professionals that improves the revenue operations processes for our sales force.Leads the strategic vision and roadmap for the CRM and CPQ (order placement) systems, working across sales leadership to achieve adoption of the technologies. Works closely with Sales Operations, Sales Education, and IT to ensure tactical delivery of the roadmap to all users.Optimizes sales coverage through the analysis of markets, the assessment of customer potential, and the design of sales roles to maximize coverage and drive revenue growth. Leads coverage strategy development that enhances overall market presence and profitability.Aligns sales strategies with customer needs and company goals, collaborating closely with the Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Service teams.Optimizes processes, continuously evaluating and enhancing sales processes, workflows, and tools to streamline operations and maximize impact.Manages the resource allocation, including budgets, staffing, and tools, to support the successful execution of the sales coverage strategy.Assesses the effectiveness of sales enablement programs, establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and making data-driven adjustments as necessary.Ensures all sales enablement practices and strategies comply with Lawson Products' policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be assigned as necessary.Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, with at least 10 years’ experience in developing and executing effective sales operations strategies (territory planning/design experience preferred), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Business leadership experience in implementing/developing CRM software.Business leadership experience in using sales coverage planning/mapping software.Fluent in the Microsoft suite of business software including Excel, PowerPoint, Word.Experience using business analytics applications (Microsoft Power BI preferred).Knowledge of industrial distribution or related business-to-business industries that go to market with a direct field-based sales force (preferred).Track record of excellent project management skills and managing timelines for delivery, especially planning workflows and project resources.Ability to articulate a clear vision/objective and align direct reports and others towards achievement of stated goals.A natural collaborator and team player; works well with internal stakeholders to create alignment and mutual support of priorities and goals.Proven leadership and strategic thinking abilities.Strong problem-solving and planning skills.Detail oriented and methodical - understands up- and down-stream impacts of decision making.Ability to set and measure KPIs based on business strategies/goals to gauge the impact of enablement processes and programs on sales results.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; exceptional presentation skills in group settings.Lawson Products is an Equal Opportunity Employer of women, minorities, protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
