As a leader in the MRO industry, we partner with customers to make sure they have the right maintenance and repair parts on hand when needed.We’re looking for an intermediate-level Sales Operations and Territory Analyst responsible for sales territory planning and analysis, creating new territories, reviewing existing territories to ensure correct assignment of accounts, and managing territory realignment projects. This role is responsible for the day-to-day sales quota operations, including creating and reviewing sales quotas and responding to general inquiries, as well as supporting ad hoc projects and sales meetings.Our corporate headquarters is located in Chicago, IL. This role operates on a hybrid work model; employees spend two days working in the office and three days working remotely. Quota ManagementPerforms day-to-day sales quota operations.Creates quotas for newly hired sales representatives and monitors the quota accuracy throughout the year.Analyzes the quotas on recently transferred accounts to determine if the go-forward quota is appropriate or a quota adjustment is warranted.Reviews accounts for potential quota adjustments upon request.Responds to general inquiries regarding sales quotas, researching and resolving issues, collaborating with other departments as required.Territory ManagementPerforms territory planning activities.Creates new territories, reviewing existing and potential businesses within certain zip codes.Maintains sales territory alignment, reviewing the books of business for terminating sales representatives and aligning outlier accounts within the appropriate sales territory.Reviews business cases for field sales representative positions to ensure the position is warranted.Manages territory realignment projects and overall territory analysis.Supports ad hoc projects and sales meetings.Solves problems, acting as a department liaison to upper management, sales representatives, sales managers and other departments.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree required, with three years' related experience with sales-oriented analysis, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Familiar with a variety of sales and sales operations concepts, practices, and procedures.Strong analytical skills in order to identify and resolve problems, as well as make decisions in a timely manner.Excellent customer service skills.Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to interact with all levels of management, staff, and customers.Able to work effectively in a matrix organization to ensure multi-function processes are completed in an accurate, timely manner.High level of initiative with the ability to multi-task.Demonstrated integrity, self-motivation, and flexibility.Advanced working knowledge of Excel and Word, with PowerPoint experience.Working knowledge of SAP highly desired.Experience with territory management software, quota setting, and territory maintenance methodologies.Lawson Products is an Equal Opportunity Employer of women, minorities, protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
