This is a mid-level position focused on day-to-day maintenance of systems and minimal builds, serving as the escalation point for Server Administrator I admins. Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, this position will monitor and maintain the health and performance of our server infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve system issues, and assist with minimal server builds and configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and supportParticipate in capacity planning including forecasting of needs for future infrastructure related purchasesPerform statistical reporting, recording and maintenance of hardware, software, and licensing inventoryMonitor and maintain the health and performance of server infrastructure.Work inside the ticketing system to ensure issues are handled in a timely mannerTroubleshoot hardware, software, and externally hosted systemsFollow procedures and standards to ensure operational consistency on a global basis and update documentation as requiredMaintain records on repairs, downtime, and configuration changesPerform routine maintenance tasks such as patching, updates, and backups of related systems.Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and escalations from the Level I team.Assist with server builds and configurations as needed.Document procedures and best practices for system operations.Participate in on-call rotation to provide off-hours support and maintenanceWork directly with architects and developers to debug problems and solutions within the infrastructure componentsWork with authentication authorities such as Active DirectoryWork with third-party SaaS providers and third party development partners on integrationParticipate in a fast-paced engineering teamKey Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in server administration or related technical experience.Expertise in monitoring and maintaining server infrastructure.Excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships with internal teams and the user communitySelf-motivated with a strong work ethicAvailability for after hours, weekend work, and travel as neededAbility to lift at least 50 poundsExperience with various virtualization technologies including VMWare and Microsoft Hyper-VExperience in scripting (Python, Ruby, BASH, and/or PowerShell)Experience with LinuxExperience with multi-tenant, private and hybrid cloud environments including OpenStack, Docker Containers, KubernetesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Experience with PCI and Sarbanes Oxley complianceExperience within Scrum agile processesAbility to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitudeAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment.Minimum 3 Years of Azure or related cloud systems management and deploymentExperience with application gateways, load balancers, certificate management and cloud securityRequired Cert - AZ-900
