Lockheed Martin Space seeks a Sr. Linux Systems Administrator for its Sunnyvale, CA location to join our team for (E2) sustainment of a signal distribution system. The operational system utilizes a variety of systems, including bare-metal servers, VMs, On-prem Kubernetes hosting services, and cloud-hosted services. Along with sustainment, we continue the active development of new capabilities and recaps of existing systems and are looking for candidates who can support the design and development of our future systems.Supports Software development teams by building and maintaining development environments and workstationsSupport troubleshooting of both development and operational systems to fault-isolate issues and collaborate with software and network team to develop solutionsResponsible for all server hardware and operating systems across both physical and virtual systems including the cloud. Maintains operational systems including patching, security hardening, PKI infrastructure, and build/deployment of new servers for upgrades and recaps.
Successful candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly.

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $82,200 - $157,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
