The Industrials Team at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) is seeking an Investment Banking Vice President. BGL’s growing Industrials team focuses on several key areas: Aerospace & Defense, Automotive & Automotive Aftermarket, Building Products, Engineered Equipment, Engineered Materials, Industrial Technology, Industrial Distribution and Metals Processing / Advanced Manufacturing. This opportunity is open to either our Cleveland, OH or Chicago, IL office.Responsibilities:Supports senior bankers in transaction execution and client managementLeads day-to-day execution of transactionsManages junior bankers and reviews their work productConducts due diligenceDevelops marketing materials, financial models, and transaction related materials and presentationsIdentifies potential investors, lenders, buyers, and acquisition targetsManages the transaction marketing processParticipates in new business developmentProvides mentorship to Associates and AnalystsQualifications:Five or more years of experience focused on mergers and acquisitions Investment BankingBachelor’s Degree requiredStrong sell- side M&A experience, as well as experience in buy-side and capital raising transactionsFINRA Licenses 63 & 79Proven track record of strong transaction execution including new business presentations, financial analysis, transaction marketing documents and preparation of other related materialsExcellent interpersonal skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsStrong work ethic and organization skillsWork Requirements:BGL is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.
