The founding team of Polycam has many years of experience working on 3D reconstruction for mobile, and previously worked together to build Display.Land, a predecessor 3D capture app.Job Summary:The Recruiting and Talent Specialist will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent. The Recruiting and Talent Specialist will also work with the HR Manager to develop and maintain effective retention, promotion, and succession planning programs.Duties/Responsibilities:Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the organization's needs throughout the recruitment process.Provide professional expertise and support in the design, development, and implementation of the talent review process required to achieve business goals and results in creating an internal bench of top talent.Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.Develop, initiate, and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, promotion, and succession planning.Work closely with the HR Manager and HRIS to collect and coordinate aggregate data for the talent pool and translate those data into insights through data analysis that drives deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels.Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.Manage job posting and advertising processes.Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.Schedules interviews; prepares interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.Recruit full-time, part-time, temporary, contractual, and intern personnel. Manage full life cycle recruitment (post, source, prescreen, schedule, background, references, offer, onboarding, etc.). Complete the hiring process within defined metrics to minimize overall time-to-start. Develop appropriate marketing strategies, define roles and responsibilities of the hiring team, and develop service-level agreements to ensure an effective and efficient recruitment lifecycle while minimizing cost-per-hire.Create and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity, and competitive advantage.Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.Collect, analyze and maintain data gathered to inform targeted leadership development (e.g., succession planning).Required Skills/Abilities:Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.Thorough understanding of recruiting methods, best practices, applicable policies, and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Ability to design and implement full-cycle performance management programs.Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for various roles.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.Proficient with Greenhouse, Slack, Google Suite, Confluence or related software.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.At least four years of managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.Experience in all areas of sourcing, including recruiter engagement and management, social media, networking, employee referrals, and job postings.Experience working at a fast-paced technical startup organization.Experience and familiarity with technical recruiting processes.Previous experience in capturing metrics and producing various employment reports.SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.Supervisory Responsibilities:None.Benefits:Polycam offers employees medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
