Job Summary:
The Sr. Applications Developer designs, develops, tests, maintains and enhances the entire scope of projects and multiple application software programs for a leading global IT solution provider. The Sr. Applications Developer will mentor and guide junior developers in the best practices of software development. The Sr. Applications Developer will interact directly with our customers to determine requirements and deliver quality software which exceeds their expectations.This position reports to the IT Solutions Manager and is performed at the SHI office location in Somerset, NJ.About Us:Since 1989, SHI International Corp. has helped organizations change the world through technology. Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a Related Business discipline, or relevant work experience required10+ years of C# development experience10+ years of SQL development experience5+ years of Windows development3+ years of RESTful API development experienceExperience working with version control conceptsExperience with integrating various systemsRequired Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate complex subject matter, both verbally and writtenAbility to learn new concepts and processes quicklyAbility to self-manage, take initiative and be resourcefulAbility to work both individually and in a team environmentIndependent learnerStrong problem solving, organizational, and time management skillsAbility to multitask and complete tasks with efficiency and accuracyStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsReceptive listening skillsProficiency in C# .NET, Java script, Angular, Typescript, HTML, CSS, ASP.Net, REST, & SQLAbility to present ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiencesMust have strong mentoring skillsWillingness to share skills, knowledge and expertiseAbility to deliver successful projectsPreferred Qualifications/SkillsAny experience in AI assisted Coding is a PlusAdditional Information:
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $120,000 $160,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
