We are currently expanding our Federal team and are looking for Enterprise Architects.
This opportunity is 100% remote.
The EA will provide Enterprise Architecture support and assist in developing and maintaining the client’s IT strategy. The EA program provides services developing and implementing solutions architecture. These services include overall application architecture and planning associated with the application portfolio. The contractor will support development of the enterprise, data, application and infrastructure architectures and technical reference models. Architecture services are comprisedof maintaining the application, data, and integration architectures.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government suitability clearance
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the IT management plan and enterprise roadmaps.Develop and maintain reference models, the IT application rationalization process, and value metrics to measure IT performance.Follow planning and architecture governance processes that align IT to support successful execution of the vision and strategic goals.Develop architectures that enable agile software application delivery that ensure security, high availability, and reliability.Serve as a liaison between Business and Functional areas and technology to ensure that IT related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, well understood, and considered as part of operational prioritization and planningDevelop planning and architecture governance processes that align IT to support successful execution of vision and strategic goals.Develop and manage IT strategy, enterprise roadmap, and reference architecture.Facilitate and participate in technical discussions and business planning sessions to establish standards, architecture, and project initiatives.Develop and maintain EA process such as EA management plan, rationalization process, and value measurements.Recommend changes to architecture supported by impact assessment, business case and/or tradeoff analysis.Review and provide feedback on changes to business and technical architecture or IT standards.Provide architecture and solution recommendations on proposed projects.Participate in application security planning.Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a key contributor in the development of enterprise or solution architectures for complex systems and environmentsExperience in Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF5+ years of relevant hands-on technical experience in an Agile/DevOps enterprise environmentDemonstrated expertise in several of the following disciplines: Cloud Services and Solutions, Database Administration and Development, Analytical Sciences, Information Technology Governance, Information Security, Information Technology Resource Management, Business Case Development, Business Process Design, Strategic Planning, and Business FunctionsExperience in presenting architectural information to non-technical audience and leadershipExperience in developing and applying architectural quality standards, modeling guides and templatesExperience in coordinating architectural work across multiple teams and projectsExperience working with and configuring professional collaborative architecture toolsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or comparable education and experience
