Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs as a member of the USAF CLS-CRC software integration team, using Windows Server 2019/2022 and Windows 10/11Functions as a cybersecurity expert to produce software builds for air force unitsCreates easily installable security update packages for Windows operating systemsCreates updated software baselinesDevelops innovative scripting and automation solutions for software deploymentsInstalls and configures COTS/GOTS products, and performs routine cybersecurity analysis to maintain a hardened security postureAssists in the creation and maintenance of supporting documentation including, System Version Documents (SVD), System Administration Manuals (SAM), Software Build Plans and Load Plan/Installation Procedures (IP)Supports customer test events, and field level installation at the request of the contract custome.0-25% CONUS/OCONUS travel requiredRequirements

MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors of Science degree in a relevant field and Five (5) years of experience in software integration and administration to include: Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and CybersecurityThree (3) years of technical experience in support of C4ISR and information management systems and applicationsPossess hands-on technical experience configuring, securing, and troubleshooting operating system services and applicationsPrior experience creating and deploying system images, configurations, and updatesPossess strong scripting language knowledgeDirect experience with:

Windows Server version 2016/2019/2022 systems administration/configuration/installationWindows version 10/11systems administration/configuration/installationVMware vSphere and/or Horizon administration/configuration experienceWindows Pre-Installation Environment (WINPE)PowerShell, bash or other scripting experiencePKI configuration and troubleshooting experienceNAS/Network Storage configuration and troubleshooting experienceUnderstanding of IAVA, STIGs, ACAS and SCAP and applying system security configurationsSecurity+ certification or ability to obtain within 6 monthsBoth written and verbal communications skills are requiredMust be able to work well in a team environmentMust be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision

VMware Horizon installation and configuration experienceExperience using Red Hat Enterprise Linux(RHEL) systemExperience using Battlespace Command and Control Center (BC3) FoS applicationsExperience using Multi-Source Correlator Tracker (MSCT) applicationExperience with PowerShell to automate functionsExperience with Bash to automate functionsHands-on software development experienceExperience using Ansible to deploy systemsExperience with cloud migration or cloud installationsPossess relevant technical certifications from Microsoft, RedHat VMware, CISCO, etc
