and our government customer in Montgomery, AL.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:Provide help desk support for CPM FoS, during the business hours of 0630-1630 CST Monday through Friday except for all Federal holidays and whenever the base is officially closed.Provide "on-call" after-hours support outside of normal business hours, including all holidays, using government-provided computer and cell phones.Utilize government-provided Virtual Private Network (VPN) and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) to the maximum extent; however, if the contractor requires after-hour access to Government facilities, the contractor shall notify the Government on-call representative to access the facilities.Monitor CPM FoS discrepancy reports as tracked in the Government-provided and approved tools to provide possible workarounds and improvement to assist field users.Document problem resolutions on both functional and engineering solutions, in the Government-provided and approved tools and provide a monthly analysis report that includes metrics on trouble call data (i.e., number of calls, resolution time, level resolve, etc.), trends, and a cumulative analysis.Review and update the Government-provided and approved tools for incidents daily.Develop and maintain problem resolution solution sets on all fielded/identified software defects.Research software, documentation, procedural problems, and network related connectivity issues and provide coordinated resolution to the requester.Research software, documentation, and functional and technical procedures, and provide a coordinated resolution to the requesting agency.Write query scripts to retrieve information and provide reports on an as needed basis when customers request such support from the FAS.Examples include requests for the number of pieces, weight, and cube shipped by type of shipment or mode of shipment or the total number of transportation control numbers shipped by location over a given month.Use Government-provided and approved tools for user problem/resolution management and SANs.Be knowledgeable with DoD cargo movement and transportation processes (MILSTRIP, Defense Transportation Regulation DoD 4500.9-R, Parts I, II, III, and V etc.). Review and provide inputs to software designs.Be knowledgeable on reviewing the DD2875 for processing new MARKS accounts as well as the process for terminating/updating/re-activating MARKS accounts. Monitor the Org Box for all new tickets and create the ticket in the Government provided tool.Be knowledgeable with AF vehicle fleet management and operations processes (AF Instructions, Manuals, and Pamphlets, i.e., 23 and 24 Series regulations governing management and operations of the AF vehicle fleet).Assist in with identifying, and troubleshooting, Standard Desktop Configuration (SDC) compatibility issues with CPM FoSSecret clearance required.
Working Environment & ConditionsThis job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
