departmentAs our new hydrogeologist you will be part of the team that utilizes critical thinking abilities for analysis and group participation for development of reports based on evaluation of environmental data and application of regulatory criteriaYour key tasks and responsibilities will be:Apply scientific principles and concepts to area(s) of specialization; able to draw solutions from education, formal training, and experienceCritical thinking abilities for analysis and group participation for development of reports based on evaluation of environmental data and application of regulatory criteriaEvaluate hydrogeologic site characteristics (e.g., generate geologic/hydrogeologic cross sections, conceptual site models, contaminant maps), identify data gaps, and develop solutions to fill those gapsLead, collaborate with, and support interdisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers to develop and implement multi-discipline solutions for soil, groundwater, sediment, and vapor remediation projectsParticipate in project scoping, costing, proposal preparation, and client presentationsManage projects at the project management level, including tracking of milestones and deliverables with strong ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlinesEffective oral presentations and technical writing; work plans and reports; data compilation and analysisPrepare proposals reflecting understanding of client needs, development of budgets and cost estimates, and managing established client relationshipsTracking of milestones, deliverables, and compliance with established budgets, plans, specifications, company standards of workmanship, quality and performance, and with the terms and conditions of the contractPlan, design, and manage/execute field work for environmental projects (e.g., sampling of soil, sediment, and groundwater)Review and analyze the cost and cost control progress, financial and other site-generated data to evaluate job status and complianceCoordinate and monitor subcontractor work activitiesYour starting point for constant growthFrom the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company.
