Job Description
Performs complex activities of a higher-technical level in the delivery of radiographic services. May be responsible for the supervision of assigned radiographic and ancillary personnel. In addition to performing duties of Assignment Level I at a higher level, also performs the following:
Performs procedures on patients whose conditions require specialized expertise.Assists Radiologists, other physicians and allied health care professionals in performing diagnostic or treatment procedures.Performs diagnostic testing on equipment and general maintenance.Monitors patient and equipment condition during procedure and reports changes to appropriate health care professional.Minimum Qualifications1. Valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issuedby the NYSDOH.
