Summary/Objective

To transport students to and from school and on activity trips in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Functions

This is a 9-month, varied hour position. The employee will work Monday through Thursday and half days on Fridays. The employee must have the availability and ability to work flexible hours, including split shifts. Extended work hours may occasionally be required.

Required Education and Experience

None

Preferred Experience

School bus and/or commercial driving experience preferred

High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Certifications/Licenses

Class B Commercial Driver's License and state bus driver's certificate must be obtained within 30 days of hireBehind the Wheel classroom training is provided for Class B CDL, P & S endorsementsCPR/First Aid - Training is providedBirth Certificate to obtain CDL driver's license in ArizonaArizona Department of Transportation physical and federal drug and alcohol testWork Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card with an IVP number through the Arizona Department of Public SafetyDepartment of Motor Vehicle driving record for the previous 39 monthsMust be able to pass an Arizona Department of Transportation physicalMust be able to pass a federal drug and alcohol testMust register with the FMCSA Drug Clearinghouse
