This position requires you to focus on getting the right parts to the right people at the right time, and to work with vendors, customers and technicians on a day-to-day basis to coordinate the movement of parts, while keeping the Parts Manager informed at all times to ensure overall customer satisfaction. The main role is Parts Delivery Driver and being a back-up to Shipping and Receiving. If we dont deliver, let us know, and we WILL fix it!**Employer of Choice** Happy and productive employees who outwork the competition.**Active in our Communities** Outstanding citizens in the market we serve.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Deliver parts to technicians and customers on an everyday basis in a timely manner.* Build long-term relationships with our customers.* Drive throughout our Fairchild Northern Market using navigational maps and directions.* Map out a delivery and pick-up route to ensure that all pick-ups and deliveries are completed in a timely manner.* Ensure that parts are pulled and shipped accurately and efficiently.* Responsible for pulling parts for van stock replenishments.* Pull, box, and deliver parts to technicians and customers.* Assist in checking all new deliveries to Fairchild Northern Market and properly distribute.* Ability to back-up and support our Shipping and Receiving Department when needed.* Responsible for maintaining inventory movements and accuracy.* Assist in the organization and cleanliness of parts and Shipping and Receiving Department.* Willingness to accept new duties, responsibilities and special projects as assigned by management.**Qualifications/Requirements:*** Valid drivers license.* Ability to travel up to 70% to 80% of the time.* Excellent driving record.* Excellent communication and customer service skills.* Ability to organize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.* Basic to moderate computer skills.* Adapt and work in a fast pace environment.* Ability to work overtime and have flexibility to accommodate the needs of the position.**Education and Experience:*** High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.**Physical Requirements:**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
