The Program Coordinator is responsible for delivering the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) program to multi-level troops (grades K-12th) in underserved communities. The program coordinator will also work with volunteers and community stakeholders.

This position is in-person onsite.

(FULL-TIME) - The schedule is up to 36 hours/week; usually 8:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m., Monday - Thursday and occasional Fridays and Saturdays. There is some flexibility in the schedule.

(PART-TIME) The schedule is up to 20 hours/week; usually 1:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m., Monday - Thursday and occasional Fridays and Saturdays. There is some flexibility in the schedule.

Program delivery sites are located throughout Orange County at afterschool programs, community centers, housing centers and more.Essential Responsibilities/Activities:

Deliver quality Girl Scout program to multi-level troops.

Serve as a liaison with site partners, parents, and educators to increase Girl Scout awareness.

Prepare program materials and supplies to ensure accurate delivery and good use of resources.

Communicate with site partners and parents about the plans and needs of the program, encouraging them to participate in troop activities and giving them an understanding of the opportunities Girl Scouting has to offer them and their girls.

Keep manager informed on program plans, accomplishments, and concerns.

Collect and process membership forms and other important documents.

Maintain accurate records of attendance and badges earned.

Recruitment of new girls, volunteers, and leaders for troops.

Host parent meetings to welcome families to Girl Scouts and identify potential leaders and volunteers.

Attend community events to recruit and increase brand awareness.

Distribute marketing materials in schools.

Engages in the Latinx community and community partners, which includes school and other youth serving organizations.

Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bilingual Spanish/English or Vietnamese/English (written and spoken fluently) is required.

Enthusiasm to mentor girls in underrepresented communities to build courage, confidence, and character.

Experience working with youth highly desired but not required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database software.

Excellent and effective oral and written communication skills, including public speaking.

Effective with time management and planning.

Attention to accuracy and detail.

Initiative in identifying needs and creating solutions.

Must possess a collaborative, team-oriented work style with the ability to work independently.

Reliable, timely, ability to receive and provide feedback in a constructive way.

High School Diploma and AA or 48 college units. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Licensed and insured California driver; must pass background screening including driving.

Proof of TB clearance.
