The Project Manager is the primary leader in the field, and is directly accountable for the safety, financial performance, and team development on site. The Project Manager will lead the project team in the construction of the entire Project. This position is responsible to provide effective leadership to the project staff and ensure quality and timely completion of the project.

Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing project chart of accounts, site logistics plan and bidding projectsMaintain thorough understanding of the McCarthy/Owner contract and develop detailed Project Contract status reportOversee the pay request process, job cost report and total cost projection reportsEnsure project quality and effective implementation of safety, EEO and Affirmative Action programsTrain and monitor progress of all project labor and staffReview and approve material, forming system and equipment needsDevelop, schedule and lead project close-out processesDevelop and maintain effective relationships with vendors, subcontractors and owners to represent McCarthy core values

Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering requiredAdvanced knowledge of construction principles/practices required7+ years of experience in highly complex commercial or industrial construction projectsExperience dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or self-perform workExperience leading successful project teams, including development of employees and maintaining relationships with external entities

In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB19-085), we are including McCarthy’s good-faith and reasonable estimate of a range of entry level base compensation at the time of the posting. This does not include possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation. Given the dynamic nature of the large-scale commercial construction industry, a candidate’s project portfolio and background can change the role and compensation for which that candidate might be qualified. The title and pay range for this role could change based on candidate qualifications and experience. Pay Range: $102,700 - $128,400.
