Path Construction is seeking an Estimating Coordinator to provide full administrative support to our estimating department. This position will be involved with both public and private jobs and will ensure each individual job achieves it's bidding goals.
The right candidate will have a strong work ethic, enjoy a fast paced environment and be able to work hand in hand with our estimating team to ensure a successful bid process from inception to submission.

Estimating Coordinator Responsibilities:
Report directly to the estimating team throughout the entire bidding processReceive and organize all bidding documents sent from clientOrder and pick up all project drawings required for bidSet up project specific bid comparison documents and folderCreate formal invitation to bid packages that will be sent to all subcontractorsEnsure all subcontractors received bid packages and confirm their intent to bidCollect and distribute all RFI's and addendum issued during bid processCommunicate award or non-award letters to subcontractors post bidRequirements
Associates degree or higherWorking Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe suiteExcellent communication skills with a professional phone demeanorAbility to work within strict deadlinesAbility to take initiative and be resourceful when bidding in new areasStrong time management and follow up abilitiesAvailability to work extended hours during bids if requiredPreferred Qualities
Knowledge of commercial construction industryFamiliar with publications such as Blue BookFamiliarity with commercial construction estimating software such as I Square Foot/Grade Beam/Onscreen TakeoffBenefits
