Firstly, you should possess a minimum of a high school diploma and have a passion for working with children. It's important to have prior experience in interacting with children, ideally with a documented track record of at least 2500 hours.
In order to prioritize the safety and wellbeing of our campers, you must be able to obtain criminal child abuse FBI and National Sex Offender Registry clearances. This ensures that we maintain a secure and nurturing environment for all children in our care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for building positive relationships with both children and parents.
Additionally, flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to think on your feet will enable you to handle the challenges and unexpected situations that may arise during camp activities.
