MetaPhase Consulting is currently supporting USAID through the Chief Information Office providing a customer engagement team. The team enables customer relations, business analysis, requirements gathering, organizational change management, and process improvement.
In support of this project, MetaPhase is seeking a Business Analyst with two or more (2+) years of experience to provide support across IT enablement projects. This team works closely together to process requests – gathering high level business requirements, developing cost estimates, and working internally with senior executive leadership from all divisions of the organization and/or agency to identify and communicate solutions and meet customer needs. As a team member, you will play a range of roles on quick paced projects, allowing for fantastic skill growth and providing variety in your day to day activities from one project to the next.
This is a highly client-facing role where you’ll be communicating frequently with stakeholders within and external to the CIO’s office. Your role will include but is not limited to Project Consulting, Stakeholder Management, Use Case Development, Information Security, Knowledge and Data Management, and Enterprise Architecture including cloud solutions.
What You Will Be Doing
Work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business data into actionable information that improves federal IT processes.Identify and solve the core business need, turning vague or aspirational business requirements into clear and concise technical requirements.Conduct reviews of submitted IT and business requirements and draft feedback by leveraging best practices, processes, standards, and templates.Determine and document user requirements for business processes and abide by those requirements for future projects.Support activities related to IT Portfolio Management.Support project initiation and facilitate regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated on project progress.What We Need From You (Required)
2+ years experience; ideally in federal government consulting.Familiar with software development and/or project implementation frameworks.Comfortable supporting across multiple engagements simultaneously.Comfortable learning systems or processes quickly to communicate stakeholder needs during solution development.Active Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain Secret Clearance).U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS).Work Location
