RockCreek seeks a dynamic, detail-oriented, and energetic professional to join the Operational Due Diligence team. In this role, you will be responsible for operational due diligence of investments across Private Equity, Real Estate, Public Equities, and other Alternative Investments. The successful candidate will have the ability to synthesizeinformation quickly across different investment strategies, distill and follow up on data and articulate results clearly in written and verbal forms using technology and working alongside team members and speaking to clients and stakeholders. Experience with due diligence of alternative investments and has the flexibility to evolve with industry changes and ever-changing situations. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to make an impact and is excitedto use technology to furtherefficiencies and analysis. Success will be measured by performance of core duties as well as advancing our thought leadership through analyzing changes and trends, and utilizing our technology to enhance efficiencies. You will report to a Managing Director and will be working closely with other teams, including our Data Team, and Legal Team.This role is at the heart of investment decision-making and risk management. The candidate should be highly organized, detail organized, hardworking and comfortable working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. They must be able to be comfortable communicating clearly and succinctly, interact with colleagues and third parties, prioritize and complete multiple tasks while meeting daily deadlines. The position is in the Legal & Compliance Team, reports to the General Counsel and involves working closely with the Investment and Operations Teams. Excellent training provided as well as a path for professional development across different aspects of the investment management industry. Qualifications
One year of related experience in finance/investment management preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Journalism, Business, Law or other relevant major. Key Experience An eye for detail, agility and an openness and willingness to learn and ask questions are necessary skills for this role. The right candidate will also be a self-motivated individual with a passion for investments that works well in a team based, fast- paced Have a high degree of integrity and ethics.
