Workday is leading Enterprise Cloud Applications provider developing and deploying a wide range of business applications. OMS Metadata team owns and handles the lifecycle of Workday Metadata Platform, one of the key components at the core of the stack. We have immediate opening for an expert Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).
About The Role
As a member of this team you’ll work with innovative and experienced engineers to work on the foundation of the Metadata Platform which enables the “Power of One”. You will take on the challenge of improving platform capabilities and scaling it to meet growing business needs while minimizing operational cost.
Responsibilities
Develop test plans comprising detailed and well-structured test casesExperience with Performance, Load, Stress, and Scalability TestingImprove automation test suites for regression-free continuous deliveryAnalyze and address production issues while bringing back lessons to improve existing test plansCollaborate with multi-functional teams to test real world test scenarios while delivering platform improvementsFacilitate in the prioritization of QA efforts to align with the priorities outlined by product management and development
About You
Basic Qualifications-Sr. Associate software development engineer in Test (SDET)
2 years of testing large scale systems2 Years of experience with CI/CD pipeline2 Years of object-oriented design and programming with Java

4 years of testing large scale systems4 Years of experience with CI/CD pipeline4 Years of object-oriented design and programming with Java
Other Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Math, or related fieldExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience in a fast-paced work environmentStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsProven track record of working in multi-functional teams and agile deliveryExperience in Observability stack such as WaveFront, Solas, ELK, Grafana, SplunkInternal candidates: Solid understanding of XO, WATS and WARP technologies, SkyLab

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $92,000 USD - $138,000 USD
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $87,400 USD - $165,600 USD
