Join us as an Interaction UX Designer at Promise, where you'll spearhead the creation of our UX design framework and components library from scratch. In this pivotal role, you'll combine your expertise in interaction design with a unique capability to construct functional prototypes. You'll work closely with our product, engineering, and business teams to establish a distinctive style guide and brand that reflects our mission to make governmental and essential services more accessible and user-friendly. This role is not just about crafting visually appealing designs; it's about improving the lives of those impacted by financial hardship by providing intuitive, easy-to-navigate digital experiences.What You'll Do
Develop and implement a comprehensive UX design strategy, creating a cohesive style guide and components library that aligns with our brand identity and mission.
Design functional prototypes using CSS and Figma, enabling quick iterations and real-world testing of user interfaces and experiences.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback, ensuring our designs meet the real needs of our users.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the UX design seamlessly into our product development process, enhancing functionality and user satisfaction.
Stay abreast of UX trends and advancements, applying best practices to keep our designs innovative and user-friendly.
Collaborate directly with the sales team to create visually appealing and user-friendly designs for sales presentations, digital tools, and marketing materials.
Design and prototype innovative solutions to streamline sales processes, enhancing the effectiveness of sales pitches and client interactions.
What Will Enable You
At least 7 years of experience in UX/UI design, particularly in creating style guides, components libraries, and functional prototypes.
Expertise in Figma, including the use of its collaboration and prototyping features to streamline the design process.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methods, with a track record of applying these to create successful user experiences.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders to bring UX design concepts to life.
Preferred but not required, proficiency in CSS, with the ability to code front-end prototypes that provide tangible experiences during the design phase.
