Perennially listed in both Event Marketer Magazine’s Agency IT List and PROMO Magazine’s Top Shops, our programs have won multiple Ex Awards, Event Technology Awards, Webby and Pro Awards.The Spirits Portfolio Brand Ambassador – is a full-time position based out of Chicago, with some travel throughout the state. This position is dedicated to gaining traction for priority brands within a major Spirits Portfolio, through brand building activation, trade advocacy and supporting the commercial goals of our distributor partners. The Portfolio Brand Ambassador will be held accountable for quantitative and qualitative measures, consumer engagement, and trade education objectives. The role will serve to increase brand awareness, drive menu/feature, and display execution, placements/points of distribution, lead staff trainings, support sales teams and increase the volume and velocity of case depletions in a targeted account universe. This position plays a crucial role in building brands, engaging with consumers and trade, and elevating the portfolio as an industry leader.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesServe as the face of a portfolio of premium spirits brandsPlan and host brand relevant events and activationsCollaborate with local team and distributor partners to drive sales, in-market account planning and activation, and KPI deliveryCreate and foster relationships with key stakeholders: local trade community, distributor partners, consumers, influencers, local events, vendors and key partnersDrive sales with category-specific trade programming and brand educationDrive case sales by gaining new points of distribution and menu placements across a strategic account universe, per annual and season KPIsEstablish a network of key trade and trade groups, and act as in-market brand liaisonServe as a market expert identifying opportunities and expanding the presence of a worlds class spirits portfolio with knowledge of commercial, cultural and competitive trends in the marketplaceBudget management, sampling spends / consumer conversionProvide weekly pre-plans of intended activityProvide monthly recap of all activitiesKPI monitoringAccount development reporting along with sales and depletionsReport menu placementsReport market trends within on/off premise communityProactive communication with local market and distributor partnersIncrease Brand visibility through social media channelsExperience, Qualifications, and Skills RequiredMust not be involved with, promoting, working for, or representing any other beer, wine or spirit brandWorking knowledge of the spirits industryMust be comfortable with online reporting and available for regular conference callsBrand Ambassador, sales, on-premise or bartending background preferredMust have strong understanding and passion for millennial culture, trends, and nightlifeRequired Skills/CompetenciesExcellent presentation skills; ability to capture an audience, hold the room, and retain key product informationKnowledge of and passion for distilled spirits is requiredOrganizing, planning and coordinating skillsAbility to manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication skills, both oral and writtenComputer skills: Microsoft OfficeConsultative selling skillsStrong initiative, self-starterResults and quality orientedRespects deadlines and commitmentsWilling to travel when needed/requested (nontraditional days/hours)Willingness to work FT, nontraditional, late night hours as required
