As a remote-first company, this position can sit in Plano, TX or remote in the US.

Position Overview

The Director of Product, DAO will play a pivotal role in the future of Alkami. The Director of Product, DAO will bring focus and passion to the strategic product vision, sales, go-to-market, software development, and delivery of Alkami's Retail and Business DAO products, ensuring that all products created are high-quality and cohesive within Alkami’s vision. The Director of Product, DAO will manage the DAO product owners, while partnering with the engineering, sales, marketing, and client experience teams.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Lead the product vision and roadmap for Alkami’s Retail and Business DAO Product Line

Lead, define, represent and communicate product strategy to all stakeholdersPublish, deploy and execute the DAO roadmap. Communicate the roadmap to executive and market facing stakeholders.Drive innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and decisive actionRegularly interact with customersDeeply integrate DAO features with Alkami’s flagship Digital Banking PlatformDirect product lifecycle management from concept to launch of Business DAO

Lead and nurture a high performance, getting it done and doing it right, team culture

Manage and coach a team of Product OwnersSupport Product Owners in the planning and assignment of tasks and deliverablesEngage and interact with Developers to ensure they understand their tasksPartner with client experience group (CXG) to ship customers by supporting Project Managers during DAO implementations

Manage the DAO P&L

Partner with senior leaders to develop revenue and sales forecastsIdentify roadmap opportunities for gross margin efficiency

Support sales enablement and go to market activities

Assist sales in acquiring strategic customers by attending on-site visitsAttend tradeshows and conferences frequently to publicly represent Alkami and the DAO product lineBe the key evangelist of DAO and participate in press activities, conferences, discussions with thought leaders and market analystsSupport cross sale to existing digital banking clients

Qualifications4+ years of experience as a product leader in digital and in branch account openingDirect experience working with account opening systems at a Financial Institution or FinTechPeople leader with demonstrated success in leading and mentoring the product, research, design, and development teamStrategic & creative thinker with the ability to craft FinTech go-to-market strategies and campaigns in collaboration with marketingDemonstrated knowledge of operational issues with (portfolio management, risk management, etc.)Customer-centric mindset with the capability of translating that into the product development processStrong project management skills and attention to detailDeep understanding of user experience and designAbility to distill product roadmaps into digestible and relevant presentations to key customers and partnersData-driven leader using product analytics to understand feature usage, comprehension, and optimizationExcellent verbal and oral communication skillsCool Things to KnowNot Just Any Company : Alkami has an awesome diverse and inclusive environment.
