seeks to hire a Project Manager for the Large-Scale Energy Storage System projects who will report to the Program Director, Large Scale US. As an Energy Storage Project Manager, you are a hands-on leader with exceptional communication skills. You are responsible for delivering engineering projects in collaboration with customer and sonnen procurement, supply chain and engineering teams. You will manage the various aspects and phases of a project life cycle, ensuring adherence to enterprise, program management standards, frameworks, and processes.This role requires regular communication with customers and internal teams to provide project level support for all projects supporting the

business. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in planning and executing multiple parallel projects and working with international cross-functional teams. This role will perform real project execution for customer projects. This position requires flexibility with travelling to support multiple projects in various geographical regions.Job Responsibilities:Responsible for developing and executing project plans for Large-Scale ESS (Energy Storage System) projects accelerating company’s progress towards a sustainable energy futureLead project execution in collaboration with customer’s project manager and sonnen’s Program Management, Technical, Supply chain and procurement teamCreate and review project schedules, cost estimation, bill of materials, budgets, scopes of work, standards, and quotes from suppliersSupervise project implementation to assure cost, time, quality, and execution guidelines according to scheduleInteract with customers on routine basis to understand project requirements and timeline when project enters execution phaseManage all parties involved (internal and external) and ensure professional project management from system integration to installation/commissioning phaseDefine and drive risk mitigation plans for projects. Define trade-offs and lead contingency option assessments when needed, then select and execute mitigation plansQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, or another related engineering science; Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferredMinimum total 7 years’ experience in renewable energy industryMinimum 4 years’ direct project management experience, able to understand project requirements, customer needs and communicate to customers effectivelyProfessional experience in management and completion of large-scale projects, preferably in solar, energy storage or other utility-scale construction projectsStrong understanding of engineering technical issues/needs, manufacturing, supply chain, service, customer service, finance, sales, and marketing as related to project engineeringHas independently overseen multi-million-dollar projectsProficient in Microsoft Office tools, specifically MS project software to generate project schedulesDemonstrated ability in managing and delivering results for multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing and quality of outcomesSelf-driven, highly motivated, flexible, and high capacity to learnExcellent written and verbal communication skills
