Material Handler

Forward March Inc. is partnering with a leading company in the manufacturing industry and is seeking a highly motivated Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials and products.

Responsibilities

Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the materialsPrepare materials for production by packaging, labeling, and organizing themLoad and unload materials onto trucks or other transportation vehiclesProperly store materials in designated locations, ensuring inventory accuracyRetrieve and deliver materials to production areas as neededKeep inventory records updated and assist with regular inventory countsFollow safety protocols and adhere to all company policies and proceduresCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support production schedulesRequirements

High school diploma or equivalentPrior experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse role is preferredKnowledge of inventory management systems and processesAbility to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacksStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accuratelyExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well in a team-oriented environmentPhysical stamina to perform lifting and moving of heavy materials
